twitter SPY is a mashup showing in real time tweets from the public timeline. The tweets are marked on a Google Map showing the location from where the tweet was done.
Tweetpaste

Cursebird
I guess the name says it all! Cursebird scans the public timeline looking for foul language in tweets and presents them for you to read! This is definitely not safe for work.
TweetNews
TweetNews is a mashup between Yahoo! News and Twitter. It is powered by the Yahoo! BOSS. The UI is nothing to boast about, even though the search is quite functional. [Read Review on TechCrunch] An example below:
