The Infochimps Data API provides a rich set RESTful APIs to extract statistical information from Twitter dating back to 2006. The current operational calls includes the following:

  • trstrank: Similar in concept to the Google PageRank, it generates a ranking on a scale of 10 for a Twitter user. The standalone app version of this is trst.me
  • Wordbag: This generates a tag cloud for a specific Twitter user
  • Influencer Metrics: Influencer Metrics measures the number retweets, mentions, and @replies that a specific Twitter user has.

API access is available under various pricing plans starting from the free plan named “Baboon” going all the way up to $4000/month.
