MyTweetSpace is a free to use Twitter background generator. It has has very good images to choose from. From their landing page:
The background images that you can choose from are very good, though its limited.
I hope they provide more options to choose from. Here is the one I generated for my Twitter Profile. In fact, I am using it on Twitter now.
