Toro

Toro is an experimental Twitter client library that removes the Twitter API limit. It is built using Adobe AIR. As it is built using AIR, it is available on all AIR supported platforms. This includes Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

There is a version available for the iPhone as well.

Filttr provides a unique way to access Twitter. It allows you to filter content (‘chirps’) from users using an algorithm they call FLAI.

Not only can you access Filttr using their web site, but also by an Adobe AIR application.
