Be a Magpie

Magpie is an ad network for Twitter. Advertisers sign up and create campaigns which consist of magpie-tweets (i.e. ads). Twitterers allow Magpie to post magpie tweets among their tweets and for them to get paid for it.

The amount you get paid depends on how many followers you have. The frequency at which these ads are posted depends on how you configure your profile. You can select 1 ad/tweet, 3 ad/tweet, etc.

Once you earn 50 Euros, you can ask for a payout.

You can tag each ad with a #magpie, so that your followers can distinguish your Tweets from the ads.

Twad.ly is an in-stream advertising platform for bloggers. Twitter Bomb

Twitter Bomb is a way to help spread your tweets to hundreds of users by having a system that enables others to retweet the message. You earn credits when you retweet a message. You can also buy credits to have others retweet your message.

Its basically a pay-and-use system to spread your tweets virally across Twitter. The success of this system will purely depend on the number of users who sign up to use it. Twitter Bomb uses OAuth for twitter login.

As described by the authors,

I’m hoping in the future that 100s maybe 1000s of people will sign up, and we could get into a ‘reach’ of millions. (Reach is the cumulative total of all registered users’ followers)
