PBTweet+ is a Twitter client for the web interface of Twitter. It is a Greasemonkey script that attempts to make the Twitter experience better. It is based on the PBTweet project, and builds upon that.

Helvetwitter

Helvetwitter is a Greasemonkey script that attempts to make Twitter look pretty! Helvetwitter strips the Twitter web interface to its basics and uses black and red colored fonts to give it a very simplistic look and feel.

As mentioned on DownloadSquad,

Helvetwitter isn’t perfect for everyone. One if its big pluses is that it doesn’t use the entire area of your browser window, so you can shrink Twitter down and drag it off to the side of your screen. On the other hand, the lack of icons can make it harder to pick out whose tweets you’re reading at a glance. The lack of sidebar is both a plus and a minus: I personally don’t miss it, but you might if you actually care about trending topics.

TwitBlocker

TwitBlocker is a Greasemonkey script that allows you to temporarily block tweets from certain users.

Once you have the script installed, then double clicking the chattering peeps will temporarily remove their tweets from your timeline. Restart your browser to get them back!

It works a bit like Twittersnooze or Twalala, but does not require you to provide your Twitter password.

Twitter User Classify

Twitter Auto Replace URL with bit.ly URL

This Greasemonkey Firefox add-on runs on the main Twitter home page, on the Update text entry box. Continuously checks for new URLs as you type. After you press space bar following a new URL, this script instantly replaces the URL with a bit.ly tiny URL. This script will act on any non bit.ly URL it finds in your Tweet. Only 3 clicks/key strokes total: 1. select a URL, 2. copy, 3. paste it into your Tweet. Twhirl needs 5 key strokes to do the same thing.

Twitter Friends’ Bios at a Glance is a Greasemonkey browser add-on that allows you to quickly review many Twitter user bios at a glance. Runs on your or your friends’ following and followers page. Uses AJAX request to read and parse each user’s profile page, then displays the bio, web link text, follower and following count next to each user id & photo on your list of followers and friends. The script runs locally on your Firefox browser. The AJAX request simply pings each user’s profile page.
