Qui.tw(eet)
Qui.tw(eet) allows you to create a Short URL for any geographic location on a Google Map.
TwtMaps
TwtMaps is a mashup that allows you to enter your twitter name and get a map that shows all your friends locations, as well as a little bit of information about each twitter friend.
Tweepware
Tweepware is a Microsoft Maps and Silverlight based Twitter Application. You can see exactly where in the world all your friends are. Tweepware also lets you send tweets and read messages all in a map interface.
Geo.ly
Geo.ly provides a mapping service where you can put a mark on a map and then share it with friends and colleagues. Geo.ly can create a map from an address for you when you post an update to @geoly on Twitter.
Stweet
Stweet is an interesting mashup between Google Maps and Twitter. Rather than just showing the location of your latest tweet on a map, Stweet goes a step further and shows the street from where the tweet was made!
tweets.ws
Tweets.ws ia a geo-coded Twitter client, which allows you to follow LOCAL tweets on any given subject. It also is a mashup with Google Maps, so you could follow tweets overlayed on Google Maps.
IRLConnect
IRL Connect is a visual social network that lets you follow your friends on the map as well as see what they are saying and doing. You can integrate it with your Facebook and Twitter accounts to update your status and connect with all of your friends from multiple networks.
TweetMapper
TweetMapper lets you geotag your tweets using hashtags. To use the site you simply have to use the hashtag #at or #loc at the end of your tweet, followed by a location (countries, addresses, zip codes, coordinates are all recognized).
Twittervision
Twittervision is a real-time geographic visualization of posts to Twitter. Ensure your Twitter profile has a location and an image defined to appear on the public feed. This will also enable you to be ‘located’ on the Twittervision map.
