Skitter is a Skype plugin which allows you connect Skype with Twitter and display all your tweets in the Skype mood text area. Enter your twitter name and it will check for new tweet every minute and update your mood text on the fly.

TwitterForBusyPeople is a simple application that displays the avatars of all your friends categorized based on their last updates. When you move the mouse over the avatar, their latest update is displayed.

Categorization is based on updates in the last hour, last day, or earlier.

TwitTray is a minimalist approach to a desktop Twitter status updater. The program sits silently in your system tray until you want to update your Twitter status. Double-clicking the icon will pop up a small box to allow you to type in a new status or pick from a recent status.

It provides an email extension to posting updates to Twitter.
