Tweets.ws ia a geo-coded Twitter client, which allows you to follow LOCAL tweets on any given subject. It also is a mashup with Google Maps, so you could follow tweets overlayed on Google Maps.

The tweetSPY feature allows you to change the “location” which enables you to spy on tweets from your neighbourhood!
