Twitrans
Twitrans is a language translation service running on Twitter. You can send a tweet to them and within an hour you will get a reply back with the translation. The tweet you send them needs to have one of the predefined codes which mentions the language to which it needs to be translated. [Read the TechCrunch Review]
Twitrans seems to be ‘human-powered’ translation rather than being an automated service.
Available language codes: Arabic-ar, Chinese-zh, Dutch-nl, English-en, French-fr, German-de, Greek-el, Hebrew-he, Hindi-hi, Italian-it, Japanese-jp, Portuguese-pt, Russian-ru, Spanish-es.

Traffic rankings are sourced from multiple sources, if available, for the Twitter application. This includes Alexa, and Compete rankings.
