Twitterative
Twitterative allows you to shrink your tweets by replacing words with acronyms, abbreviations, SMS/text lingo so that you can squeeze in more into 140 characters.
As an example the following sentence:
Hello World. This is a test of the twitterative system to see how effective it is in shrinking words. Let me see what happens with this text
was converted to:
hi World. This is a test of the twitterative system 2 c hw effective it is in shrinking words. Let me c wot happens w/ this txt
This is a saving of 13 characters, or in other words, an opportunity to type another 13 characters into the same tweet!
